Customs declaration of postal shipments
Customs declaration of postal shipments in international postal traffic is performed under Customs surveillance and inspection and in accordance to the procedures and regulations of the Customs Act, international and customs agreements and other postal regulations.
When postal shipments reach the Customs area of Republic of Croatia, Customs Officer at the authorized Post Office separates shipments that are not submitted to the Customs house from ones that are submitted to the Customs house for inspection, so some are immediately released for the purpose of being served to the consignees.
